Memorial services for Henry "Montie" Owen, 88, West Liberty, will be held at a later date, with burial of the cremains in the Oak Ridge cemetery, West Liberty.

Mr. Owen died Aug. 21, 1993 at the Simpson Memorial Home in West Liberty, following a long illness.

The son of Montie and Hattie Hipple Owen, he was born Nov. 11, 1904. He worked at Kent Feeds in West Liberty for many years and then at Louis Rich Foods in West Liberty for several years.

Mr. Owen is survived by 3 sons, Montie, Salinas, Kan.; John, Seaford, Del.; and James, Wilton; a sister, Viva Ross, Moscow; 6 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
