Funeral services for Marie McDuffie, 88, Muscatine and formerly of West Liberty, were held Aug. 24, 1993 at Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty, with burial in the Oak Ridge cemetery.

Mrs. McDuffie died Aug. 22 at the Bethesda Care Center in Muscatine.

The daughter of James and Rosie Smith Krotz, she was born Aug. 22, 1905 in Cedar county. She married Charles Collison in 1926. He died in 1940. She married Robert McDuffie Aug. 1, 1944 in McAllister, Okla. He also preceded her in death.

Mrs. McDuffie is survived by 3 sisters, Anna Baldwin, Muscatine; Rosie Hammann, Muscatine; and Marguerite Knouse, Akley, Minn. She was preceded in death by her husbands, 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
