Mrs. Mary E. Price, resident of Muscatine for two years, died at 9:45 o'clock Wednesday at the home of her nephew, J. H. Garrett, 1225 East Fourth street. Death was due to old age and complications. She was 81 years old. Mrs. Price, formerly Miss Mary E. Dodder, was born Sept. 6, 1842, near Grandview. She married George W. Price in April, 1884 and lived at St. Paul, Neb., until two years ago, when she came here to make her home with her nephew. Her husband died Feb. 20, 1911. She is survived by one brother, G. W. Dodder of this city; a niece and two nephews. She was a member of the First Presbyterian church at St. Paul, Neb. Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock Thursday morning from the Garrett residence. The Rev. J. B. Rendall of the First Presbyterian church, assisted by the Rev. George Blagg of the First Methodist Episcopal church, will officiate. The remains will then be taken to St. Paul and buried by the side of her husband. - Muscatine Journal
