Funeral services for Jacklyn L. Wiele, 57, West Liberty, were held Aug. 1, 1991 at the United Methodist church, with the Rev. Donald Thompson officiating. Dorothy Carey was organist and Robert Fulwider was soloist. Pallbearers were Tom Heither, David Kordick, William Koellner, Wayne McConhay, Donald Carter and Donald Heckman. Burial was in the Oak Ridge cemetery.

Mrs. Wiele did July 29 at Mercy hospital in Iowa City following a long illness.

The daughter of Harold and Elizabeth Mewhirter Duncan, she was born Jan. 8, 1934 in Washington, Iowa. She graduated from Columbus Junction high school in 1952. She married Neil Wiele June 21, 1952 in Davenport.

Mr. and Mrs. Wiele, along with their sons, own and operate Wiele Chevrolet in West Liberty. She was a lifetime member of the United Methodist church and served as a Sunday school teacher for 19 years. She was also a member of T.T.T.

She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Diane Meyerholz, Iowa City; 2 sons, Tom and Kent, both of West Liberty; a brother, Douglas Duncan, West Liberty and 9 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
