Funeral services for James Cook, 70, West Liberty, will be held at 10 a.m. today, Wednesday, July 31, 1991 at Columbus City cemetery.

Mr. Cook died July 29 at his home.

He married Dorothy Hanft in 1941 in Kahoka, Mo. and was a construction worker in Iowa City. He served in the U.S. Navy in World War II.

Mr. Cook is survived by his wife; 5 sons, James, Jr., Parnell; John, Tipton; Max and Gary, both of West Liberty and David, Deep River; 14 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; 6 sisters and a brother.
