Funeral services for Mrs. Raymond Stecher, 64, were held at St. Mary's church, Muscatine, May 23 with burial in St. Mary's cemetery. Pallbearers were Raymond Daufeldt, Bill Brucher, Bill Welsch, Tom Newcomb, Melvin Staggs and Joe Stecher.

Mrs. Stecher died at Mercy hospital, Davenport, May 21.

The daughter of William and Lola Spitznogle Richter, she was born at Buffalo Nov. 13, 1920. She was married to Raymond E. Stecher at Muscatine June 19, 1940. She was a member of St. Mary's church and the Women of the Moose.

She is survived by her husband; a son, Albert R. Stecher, Muscatine; 5 daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Donna) Daufeldt and Mrs. Melvin (Bonnie) Staggs, both of Blue Grass; Mrs. Bill (Bettie) Brucher, Aurora, Ill.; Mrs. Bill (Doris) Welsch, Cayce, S.C.; Mrs. Tom (Mary) Newcomb, Muscatine; 4 sisters, Mrs. Bernard (Leona) Stecher, Muscatine; Mrs. Luther (Iona) Allensworth, Bellflower, Calif.; Mrs. Gerald (Laura) Schroeder, Montpelier and Maxine Leahers, Little Rock, Ark. and 14 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a grandson.
