Funeral services for Hazel Ordella Soteros, 72, Wilton, will be held today (Aug. 8) at 10:30 a.m. at the Lacock Funeral Home in Wilton with the Rev. Larry Bunger officiating. Pallbearers are Pete Nopoulos, Nic Nopoulos, Dale Fischlein, Ken Robertson, Anthony Pirrera, Robert Proctor and William Clifford Chapman. Max Lauser is the vocalist and Diana Maurer the organist. Burial is in the Moscow cemetery.

Mrs. Sotoeros died Aug. 5 at the Bethesda Care Center in Muscatine following an extended illness.

She was born Dec. 9, 1911 in Moscow to Henry and Mabel Wilhelm Camp. She attended the rural Muscatine county and Moscow schools. She married Peter Soteros Feb. 13, 1928 in Muscatine.

Mrs. Sotoeros was a homemaker and a life resident of the Wilton area. She was a member of Grace United Church of Christ.

She is survived by 4 daughters, Mrs. Wayne (Mary) Ford, Wilton; Mrs. Edward (Betty) Waite, Davenport; Mrs. George (Thelma) Nopoulos, Wilton and Mrs. Karen Fischlein, Davenport; 2 sons, Ronald Soteros, Carrollton, Texas and Larry Soteros, Montpelier, 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mrs. Elda Proctor, Moscow and Mary Alma Benson, Rock Island, Ill. and a brother, Edwin Camp, Durant.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son and a brother.
