Heart Ailment Proves Fatal to Mr. Worley, 74 [handwritten date: 8 Feb 1947]

Mrs. Lillian L. Worley, 74, resident here for 40 years, died at her home, 308-1/2 Orange street, at 8:15 a.m. today after a short illness with a heart ailment. She was born in Louisa county, May 15, 1872 the daughter of Harry and Rebecca Parson Smith. Her marriage to Louis M. Worley took place in Lousia county on Feb. 28, 1902. Mrs. Worley was a member of the Methodist church at Columbus Junction.

Surviving are three daughters, Mr. Fred Ray of Muscatine, Lucile Worley at home and Mrs. Irene Terry of Muscatine; and four grandchildren. her parents and husband preceded her in death.

The body is at the Geo. m. Wittich Funeral home where it will remain pending arrangements for services.
