Mrs. West, 82, Dies in Ohio; Services Monday

Graveside rites will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Greenwood cemetery for Mrs. Mary Butler West, 82, a former Muscatine resident who died Friday at Lakewood, O. The Rev. A.D. Steffenson of the First Methodist church will officiate.

The body is to arrive at the Fairbanks Home for Funerals early Sunday morning.

A daughter of William and Martha Bumgardner Butler, she was born in Muscatine on Jan 3, 1875. She resided here until 1912. She married Frank West.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Patrick, of Lakewood; one sister Mrs. Ettie Jarvis of Lubbock, Tex.; and three grandchildren. Her husband and one brother, Charles Butler of Muscatine, preceded her in death.
