Reightnouer Rites Will Be Conducted Here on Monday
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Ralph J. Wittich Funeral Home for George Reightnouer, 79, life resident of the Muscatine community, who died at 11:20 a.m. Friday at a local nursing home, following an extended illness. The Rev. Everett I. Hageman, pastor of Zion Lutheran church, will have charge. Interment will be at Greenwood cemetery.

Mr. Reightnouer was born Aug. 3, 1878, at Fairport, the son of George and Kate Sitter Reightnouer. His marriage to Carrie Becker took place at Burlington, Ia. He was of Lutheran faith. Mr. Reightmouer was engaged in farming prior to retiring. Before going to the nursing home, he had resided at 308 Orange street.

Survivors include three sons, Clarence L. Reightnouer, Davenport, and Fred and Frank Reightnouer, Muscatine; one brother, Fred Reightnouer, Muscatine; and one grandchild. His wife and two sisters preceded him in death.
