Final rites for Alma Freyermuth, 85, were held at United Methodist church in West Liberty Sept. 4 with the Rev. Lawrence Carlton officiating. Burial was in Oak Ridge cemetery.

Mrs. Freyermuth died at Mercy hospital Sept. 1 following a brief illness.

The daughter of Cyrus and Mary Alice Toyne Satterthwaite, she was born in Muscatine April 28, 1887. She was married to Phillip Freyermuth in West Liberty March 4, 1909. She was a member of the Methodist church in West Liberty.

Survivors include 3 sons, Clifford, Atalissa; Lauren, Wilton, and Dale, Mundelein, Ill.; a daughter, Mrs. Marvin (Marian) Jaynes, Moraga, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and 2 brothers, Ellsworth Satterthwaite of West Liberty and Merrill Satterthwaite of Muscatine.
