Last rites for George Martin Lincoln, 86, Moscow, were held at Zion Lutheran church, Atalissa, Aug. 12 with burial in the Oakdale cemetery.

Mr. Lincoln died at Muscatine General hospital Aug. 9, following a lengthy illness.

The son of George and Minnie Hinkhouse Lincoln, he was born in Lime City July 2, 1886. He married Miona Schmidt in Kahoka, Mo., Dec. 14, 1940. He was a member of the Rural Letter Carrier Association as a retired mail carrier and a member of the Atalissa Zion Lutheran church.

His wife survives along with 2 sons, Harold, Delhi and Donald, Hamilton, Ill.; a daughter, Mrs. Paul (Florence) Sandburg of Hillsdale, Ill.; 2 brothers, Charles and Roy, Moscow; 3 sisters, Mrs. Clara Barkalow of Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. Emma Smith and Mrs. Grace Birkhofer, Wilton; and 12 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter.
