Kenneth Lee Kraklio, age 84, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at The Ivy at Davenport Nursing Home. A visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at Bentley Funeral Home, Durant. A private family funeral service will be held at Bentley Funeral Home, Durant. A private burial will take place in the Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Durant Ambulance in his memory.

Kenny was born on October 5, 1937, the son of Earl and Amanda (Klindt) Kraklio in rural Wilton. He graduated from Wilton High School with the Class of 1955. Kenny proudly served his country in the United States Army. He married Sharon Stender on April 18, 1959 in Davenport. He later married Eugenia Pearson.

After he was honorably discharged, Kenny farmed in Walcott and Donahue, while working at International Harvester in Moline, Illinois and Cartridge Pack in Davenport. Kenny moved to Wilton in 1970, where he began a career in sales. He was an avid dancer and rode in multiple Ragbrai. Kenny was a natural inventor and could build anything he set his mind to.

Kenny is survived by his four children, Theresa (Pete) Grunder of Wilton, David (Cheri) Kraklio of Durant, Doug Kraklio of Wilton and Eric Kraklio of Pittston, Pennsylvania; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson; one brother, Gary (Kaye) Kraklio; and two sisters, Deloras Ruplinger and Sharon Grunder.

Kenny was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jean; two great grandchildren, Isaiah and Lydia Kraklio; six sisters, Eleanor Moeller, Jacqueline Telsrow, Patricia Kraklio, Marion Kappeler, Phyllis Kappeler and Ruth Paustian; two brothers, Darius and Earl Kraklio; and two brothers in-law, Norman Ruplinger and Jim Grunder.
