MUSCATINE, Iowa - Leslie Alan Allbee, 84, of Muscatine, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at his home.

A private graveside service will be held. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com .

Leslie was born to Cecil A. and Genevieve A. Hopewell Allbee on August 6, 1937. He married Ruth E. Atkinson on August 25, 1962 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Muscatine. The couple were blessed with a son, Robert of Muscatine.

He served our nation in the United States Marine Corps, returning home to work as a meat cutter at Oscar Mayer for 40 years.

Leslie was an avid sports fan, and especially enjoyed trips to the casino with Ruth.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Donald Allbee; and a sister, Cecilia Allbee.

His wife Ruth and son Robert remain to cherish his memory.
