Funeral services for a former West Liberty resident, Mrs. Clara Mae Martin, 92, were held at West Liberty Jan. 29 with the Rev. Lawrence Carlton officiating.

Mrs. Martin died at a Mt. Pleasant Nursing home Jan. 26.

She was born at Centerdale, Iowa, Dec. 18, 1878, the daughter of Joseph and Atte Fawcett. She was married to Charles Martin at West Liberty.

Survivors include 2 sons, Joseph, Buffalo, N.Y., and William of Fresno, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Alice Briggs, Omaha, Nebr.; and 3 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband.
