Services for Mrs. Clarence Schmidt, 67, Atalissa, will be 2 p.m. today (Thursday) at the Presbyterian church at Atalissa. Burial will be in Overman cemetery near Atalissa.

Mrs. Schmidt died Jan. 19 at a hospital in Lakeland, Fla., after a short illness.

The former Lillian Hunter was born in Muscatine county. She was married to Mr. Schmidt in 1921 at Atalissa.

Mrs. Schmidt is survived by her husband; a son, Calvin, Tipton; daughters, Mrs. Wayne Spilger, Atalissa, and Mrs. Leonard Larson, West Liberty; 8 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Gerald Mentink, Letts, and 3 brothers, Tony, Curtis and Robert Hunter, all of Muscatine.
