Dettmer “Dwaine” Adcock, 79, of Muscatine, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2022, at Trinity Rock Island. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 3, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Snyder and Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Services of Muscatine. Dettmer Dwaine Adcock was born on July 5, 1942, in Gentryville, Missouri, the son of Dettmer E. and Helen L. (Karicter) Adcock. On April 18, 1964, he was united in marriage to Patti Sue Wagner in Muscatine. Dwaine was a an over the road truck driver for Morgan Trucking for 45 years. He was a member of the APA Pool League and the Moose. Dwaine enjoyed playing pool and was on a pit crew for stockcar racing in the local area.

Dwaine will be deeply missed by his children, Daryl Adcock, Rodney (Dawn) Adcock, Janice (Scott) Painter, Gregory (Marsi) Adcock and Steve Adcock all of Muscatine; 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; siblings, Eldon Adcock of Missouri, Max Adcock of Neosho, Missouri, Mickey Adcock of Texas, Carolyn Adcock of Oklahoma, Linda Shields of Neosho, Missouri and Kathy Adcock of Missouri and many extended family.

Dwaine was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Patti; granddaughter, Emily Sue Adcock and siblings, Marion Adcock and Veronica Adcock.
