Ezra P. Trautman died at the residence of his mother Thursday morning, the 21st, at 2:30 a.m. of consumption. Deceased was born in Pike township, this county, Nov. 27. 1859, and at his death was 20 years, 6 months and 24 days old. He had always lived in this county and was an exemplary young man. The funeral was preached Friday by J. E. Eggert, of Columbus Junction, and the remains were interred in the Watkins cemetery. Willis Trautman, a brother, came in from Muscatine, and attended the funeral.
