M. Dale Keeler, 85, of Muscatine, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Trinity Hospital in Muscatine. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Muscatine. Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 7, 2022 at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery. Following the entombment, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the Muscatine American Legion. Memorials may be left to the donor’s choice in memory of Dale. Marion Dale Keeler was born May 15, 1936 in Conesville, Iowa, the son of John and Inez M. (Lauderdale) Keeler. Dale attended schools in Conesville and Muscatine. On October 24, 1958, Dale was united in marriage to Janet Sturms in Muscatine. Dale was a lifelong resident of Muscatine County. He worked for Alcoa, the United States Postal Service, Marie Lindsay and was the owner of Cheri-Top Drive In. He was a member of the Moose, Eagles, VFW and American Legion. Dale enjoyed tinkering, photography, putting together puzzles and coaching baseball, which he did for several years. He was an avid sports fan of all kind, his favorite teams included the Iowa Hawkeyes, Green Bay Packers and Los Angeles Dodgers.

Dale will be deeply missed by his wife, Janet, children, David (Angie) Keeler and Angela (Scott Brannam) Haller; grandchildren, Chase Keeler, Michael (Paige) Haller, Bryce (Paige) Keeler, Ali Keeler, Caitlyn (Joe) Dickson and Olivia Reddish; great-grandson, Tommy Keeler; honorary grandchildren, Lily and Jack McAreavy and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Orville Van Horn; son, Tom Keeler; siblings, Grace Tomasson, Myrle Abney, Marjorie Lenz and Ginny Forbes.
