Larry Hammond, age 79, passed away peacefully on Sunday 16, January, 2022, with family present at his home in Wheatland, Missouri. The son of Donald and Karen Hammond, Larry was born 26 April, 1943 in Muscatine, Iowa. He retired from J.I. Case in Iowa after 30 years of faithful service. Larry enjoyed fishing, boating and dirt track racing.

Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Sandra Jean Nelson Hammond, of Wheatland, Missouri, his son Donald Hammond and daughter-in-law of Muscatine, Iowa, sister-in-law Carolyn Sue Hammond, grandchildren Sarah Reed, Jeffrey Jones and Heather O'Campo, and several nieces , nephews and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Jim Hammond and daughter Tamara Hammond.

Arrangements are being completed by Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services, Springfield, Missouri, 417-890-1475.
