Mrs. Nattie Pearl John, 89, a native of Atalissa, died May 26 in a Minneapolis, Minn., nursing home after an extended illness. Services were held May 30 in West Liberty, with the Rev. Harland Gant officiating. Burial was in Oak Ridge cemetery.

The daughter of Theodore and Mattie Sticker Jones, she was born in Atalissa June 2, 1889. She was married to George John.

She was a Methodist and a member of the Eastern Star in Davenport.

She is survived by 2 sons, Kenneth and Malvern, and a daughter, Mrs. Gladys Morgan.
