Last rites for Mabel Flint, 81, were held Dec. 27 at the Wittich funeral home in Muscatine with Pastor Waldon of Faith Baptist church, West Liberty, officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery at Mechanicsville.

Pallbearers were Lowell Salyars and Eldon, Herbert, Wayne, Leo and Doug Ford.

Miss Flint died Dec. 24 at the Hawker Nursing home, West Liberty, following a long illness.

She was born at Mechanicsville and educated in the Cedar county schools. She lived most of her life in Atalissa, with the exception of a few years in Wisconsin when a young woman.

She was a long time member of the Christian church, Atalissa.

She is survived by a nephew, Lowell Horn and 2 nieces, Mrs. Roy Miller and Mrs. Frank Ford, Tipton and 2 step-nieces, Mrs. Charles Hachkbarth and Wadena Flint, both of Wisconsin.
