Robert J. Andera, age 77, of Wilton, Iowa, passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m., Monday, October 18, 2021 at Bentley Funeral Home, Wilton. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, October 18, 2021 at the funeral home. Burial will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery, Wilton.

Bob was born in Wilton on October 15, 1944, the son of Ray and Florence (Feltman) Andera. He graduated from Wilton High School with the Class of 1964. Bob proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp, serving in Vietnam.

Bob farmed the family farm and drove truck for H.W.H. in Moscow for many years. In his spare time, Bob enjoyed servicing and fixing mowers and other things in his hobby shop. He was a talented toy maker and made replica's of antique toys that he would give away to his family, friends and neighbors. Bob also loved golf and was inspired to create his very own 9 hole golf course at his home. He spent hours playing golf and hanging out with his friends at "Bob's 99 Club". Bob also enjoyed watching NASCAR races and old western movies.

Bob will be dearly missed by his two siblings, Don (Sylvia) Andera of Marshalltown, Iowa and Betty (Steve) Wacker of Tucson, Arizona; as well as several nieces, nephews and caring neighbors. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Florence; and an infant son, Pete Adam Andera.
