Ralph Zellmer, 88, of Muscatine, passed away on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at his home. Private services will be held at a later date. The Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Service of Muscatine is caring for the family. Memorials may be left to UnityPoint Hospital and Clinic of Muscatine in memory of Ralph. Ralph Eugene Zellmer was born February 9, 1933 in Muscatine, the son of Hugo and Wilma (Jensen) Zellmer. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict and was stationed in Okinawa, Japan. On August 26, 1960, he was united in marriage to Barbara Jensen in Rock Island.

Ralph retired from Bandag Inc. after many years. He was a former member of the Moose Lodge. He was a hard worker and enjoyed being outside, cutting wood, fishing and playing cards. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family. Ralph will be deeply missed by his wife, Barbara of Muscatine; children, Elaine Zellmer and Steven Zellmer, both of Muscatine and grandchildren, Collin and Emma. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Donald, sister, Darlene and daughter-in-law, Cathy.
