Final rites for Mrs. Frank Darting, 78, were held Nov. 2 at Wilton Junction with burial in the Oakdale cemetery. Mrs. Darting died Oct. 30 at a convalescent home after a lengthy illness.

She was born June 9, 1888 at Muscatine, the daughter of William and Mary Dieling Kepke.

She married Frank J. Darting on Nov. 29, 1929 at Muscatine and was a member of the Methodist church, Gold Star Mothers and the Martha class at the Methodist church.

Surviving are: 2 daughters, Mrs. Jean (Edith) Welker and Mrs. Adolph (Imagene) Klatt, both of Muscatine; 4 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one son, Raymond, who was killed in World War II, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
