Jacob Hines, aged 65, near West Liberty, died from the heat.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Aug. 5, 1840 (his gravestone shows 1839) and died Aug. 5, 1916. (This does not agree with the above age.) He is buried in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
