MUSCATINE, Iowa - Victoriano 'Victor' Zamudio Anaya, 55, of Muscatine, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 20, 2021, at Unity Point Trinity - Rock Island, Illinois.Visitation will be held from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, May 24, 2021, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the family, in care of Dolores Zamudio. Online condolences: www.wittichfuneralhome.com.
Victor was born on July 8, 1965, in Peña Blanca, Chihuahua, Mexico, the son of Jesus and Antonia Zamudio. He married Dolores Mesa on December 8, 1995, in Muscatine. They were married for 26 wonderful years.
He grew up in Peña Blanca, Chihuahua with his parents and seven siblings. He was a graduate of Felipe Carrillo Puerto school. He moved to the United States in 1990. Victor was employed at West Liberty Foods PSSI. Victor truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; he enjoyed fishing, working on cars, and going to the casino. But most of all spending time with his family and friends.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Dolores Zamudio; his children, Juan Solis, Veronica Madrid, Daniel Solis, Dolores (Mike) McKim, Victor Jr. (Haley) Zamudio, and Evita Zamudio; 17 ½ grandchildren; and his siblings, Yolando Zamudio, Socorro (Linda) Zamudio, Lilo (Yolanda) Zamudio, Chela (Manuel) Delgado de Zamudio, Norma Zamudio, and Jesus Lorenzo (Erika) Zamudio.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Jesus Maria Zamudio and Antonia Zamudio Anaya; younger brother, Javier Zamudio, younger sister who died in infancy; brother-in-law Chalano Cordova; and son-in-law Fernando Madrid.
