Funeral services for Asa Isabel, 79, West Liberty, will be held in the Snider Funeral home, West Liberty, Dec. 2 with the Rev. Harlan Gant, pastor of the Methodist church officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge cemetery at West Liberty.
Mr. Isabel died Nov. 29 at his home near West Liberty.
The son of John and Nancy Jane Little Isabel, he was born May 25, 1887 at Bingham, Ill. He was married to Pearl Cook Nov. 27, 1912 at Randalia, Ill.
He had been a resident of the West Liberty community for 46 years.
He is survived by his wife, 2 sons, Ray, Atalissa and Joe, at home; 2 brothers, George and John Isabel and a sister, Mrs. Mary Hick, all living in Illinois; 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Ralph, a granddaughter and a great-grandson, 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
