MUSCATINE, Iowa -Sharon G. Hargrave, 77, of Muscatine, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2021, at her home.

A private service will be held. Reverend Ed Foster will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m on Friday, February 26, 2021, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the family in care of, Jane Yerington. Online Condolences: www.wittichfuneralhome.com .

Sharon was born on January 14, 1944, in Virginia, the daughter of Cornelius 'Dutch' and Dorothy Turner Giessregen. She married Robert T. Hargrave on June 9, 1962, in Muscatine.

She enjoyed looking up recipes and watching cooking shows. Sharon loved keeping in touch with her grandchildren.

Sharon is survived by two daughters, Jane Yerington and her husband, John, of Atalissa and Cathy Hill and Scott Garvin of Muscatine; her bonus daughters, Jennifer Hargrave and Kim Tomasson; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and three sisters, Linda Maas, Janet Giessregen, and Connie Foster, all of Muscatine.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and Dutch; her husband, Robert in 1997; one son, Dave Hargrave; and many beloved cousins and friends.
