Mattie Marie Cocklin

Mattie Marie Cocklin,86, of Grandview, died Wednesday, March 19, at Valley View Manor Lutheran Home, Muscatine.
She was born Jan. 12, 1900, in Grandview, to William and Ida Wade McGill. She married Floyd McGill. She then married Glenn Scott Stephens; he died in 1959. She later married George Cocklin; he died in 1980.
She was a lifetime resident of the Grandview community, spending a few years in Muscatine and Wapello. She attended the Cedar Street Church of God, Wapello.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Services for Mrs. Cocklin will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home, Wapello, with the Rev. Harry Gates officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery.
