Alvin Schuster, 87, who lived south of Stockton, died Jan. 15 in Mercy Hospital, Davenport.

Services were Jan. 18 in Durant, with burial in the Durant cemetery.

Born Oct. 3, 1877, he came to Stockton with his parents at 6 years of age. He married Laura Leudert Dec. 17, 1904, in Davenport. The couple farmed near Stockton.

Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Albert Geurink, Durant, and a son, Walter, Stockton.
