MUSCATINE, Iowa - Christopher Allen Pelton, 45, of Muscatine, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2020, at University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics.

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the family, in care of, Holly Pelton. Online condolences: www.wittichfueralhome.com.

Christopher was born on February 6, 1975, in Muscatine, the son of Doug and Diana Kruse Pelton. He married Holly Busch on June 26, 1999, in Muscatine.

He graduated from Muscatine High School and worked for MUSCO Lighting in the shipping department for 23 years.

Christopher enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, and looked forward to watching the Iowa Hawkeyes and St. Louis Cardinals. He loved to watch his kids play baseball and softball.

Christopher is survived by his wife, Holly Pelton of Muscatine; two children, Devin Pelton and Morgan Pelton, both of Muscatine; his parents, Doug and Diana Pelton, of Muscatine; one sister, Jessica Martin and Jeremy Flores of Muscatine; sister-in-law, Michelle Lee and husband, Todd; six nieces and nephews; and very special family friends, Henry and Renae Yahn and their family.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents.
