BURY LONE TREE VICTIM OF FLU

Lone Tree, Ia., Nov. 15. – Private services were held yesterday morning at the home over the remains of Mrs. Joseph Brookhart, the services being conducted by Rev. Kottonstette of Hills. Mrs. Brookhart was a victim of Spanish influenza and passed away Tuesday night after an illness of several days. Before her marriage Mrs. Brookhart was Miss Kate Deane of Nichols and is survived by her husband and two young sons, both of whom are ill with the same disease. Her aged mother is also living near Nichols beside three sisters and four brothers, who mourn her loss. The body was laid to rest in the Catholic cemetery west of Nichols
