MUSCATINE, Iowa - Kenneth Quigley, 76, of Muscatine, passed away peacefully, on Thursday, August 27, 2020, at his home with his family.

Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, September 1, 2020, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the family, in care of Mary Quigley. Online Condolences: www.wittichfuneralhome.com

Graveside Service will be held at 12:00 p.m., noon, on Wednesday, September 2, 2020, at Letts Cemetery. Pastor Michael Swartzendruber will officiate. Pallbearers will be Joel Rock, Jeff Rock, James Rock, Michael Trachta, Cameron Peterson, and Cody Smith.

Kenneth was born on October 2, 1943, in Fairfield, the son of Paul William and Sara J. Floyd Quigley. He married Mary Keever on October 26, 1996, in Muscatine.

As a young man, he had a passion for drawing which prepared him to become a master craftsman as a high-pressure pipe welder. He had the gift of gab, didn't know a stranger, and his goal was to entertain and to make people laugh. He was an avid reader of the Civil War and visited many battlefields, which brought the words to life. When special friends would hear, "Let's go up the river", they would know it would be the beginning of a great trip. Later in life, Kenny and Mary enjoyed spending time together doing yard work, lovingly called 'Quigley Park'.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Mary Quigley of Muscatine; his son, Paul Quigley of Muscatine; and his faithful 'fur baby' Bratney a.k.a Tiddy.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and one brother in infancy.
