LONE TREE – Robert R. Borgstadt, 62, died Sunday at Stafford, Ariz., following an extended illness.

Services are Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Nichols Christian Church with the Rev. Dick Corwin officiating. Pallbearers are Denny Abbott, Brian Abbott, Steven White, Randy Thomas and Rick Thomas. Burial will be in the Nichols Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday beginning at 6 p.m. at the Sorden Funeral Home where a memorial has been established.

Mr. Borgstadt was born Sept. 21, 1924 at Nichols, a son of Raymond and Marie Ryan Borgstadt. He married Eleanor Kay Thomas in Des Moines.

Survivors include his wife; one son, John Borgstadt, Stafford; two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Andrea) Burton, California; and Ann Borgstadt, Stafford; five grandchildren; one brother, Bill Borgstadt, Phoenix; and two sisters, Mrs. Keith (Joyce) Abbott, Conesville; Mrs. Charles (Ferne) Crawford, Hackett, Ark.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
