MUSCATINE, Iowa - Elizabeth B. Cromer, 81, passed away on June 8, 2020, at Premier Estates.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2020, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Vinton Cromer, Mike Cromer, Pat White, Tim White, Chad Holladay, and John Boardman.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2020, at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com.

Lizzy was born on February 21, 1939, in Muscatine, the daughter of Clinton Peterson Sr. and Eva King. She married John 'Jack' Cromer on August 28, 1959, in Muscatine.

Lizzy was a farmer's wife, worked at CDS of Wilton for 14 years, and Muscatine General Hospital for 20 years as a nurse's aide. She was a member of the Moose Ladies, Farm Bureau, Eagles, and belonged to the Grange. Lizzy enjoyed cooking, baking, going on bus trips, playing cards, dancing, embroidering, working in the vegetable garden, and taking care of her flowers. She loved being with her family and going to lunch with her sisters.

Lizzy is survived by her husband; one sister Rosalin Hyink and husband, Tim; one sister-in-law, Thelma Peterson; and one brother-in-law, Shorty Todd.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brothers and sisters, Helen McLaughlin and husband, Bob; Eileen Todd; Nancy Reiner and her husband, Everett; Clint Peterson Jr; Leroy 'Pike' King Jr. and his wife, Irene; Bill Peterson; and her very good friend, Tillie Honts.
