Gladys V. Hoskins, 72, of 1906 Houser St., Muscatine, died at 7:50 a.m. today at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the George M. Wittich Funeral Home. Rev. J. Paul Stevens will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery.
Visitation will begin Saturday afternoon.
Born Jan. 28, 1898 at Muscatine, she was the daughter of Harry B. and Gertrude E. Tschillard Phillips. She was a life resient[sic] of Muscatine.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Doris Byrd, Milan; her mother, Mrs. Gertrude Dickerson, Muscatine; two brothers, A.J. Philips, Muscatine, Arthur L. Dickerson, Battle Creek, Mich.; four half-brothers, Russell Phillips, Brookfield, Mo., Carl Phillips, Eddieville; Burton Phillips, Seattle, Wash., and Cecil Phillips, Burlington; one step-brother, George Schmidt, Muscatine; one step-sister, Mrs. Marie Toby, in California; also three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, husband and two sons.
