FUNERAL OF MISS KATHARINE CLARK

REMAINS WILL ARRIVE FROM NEW YORK TOMORROW.

The Funeral Will Be Held Wednesday Afternoon at 3 O’clock From Home of Mrs. Hawley.

The remains of Miss Katharine Clark, who died at New York yesterday morning, will arrive in this city at 7:30 tomorrow morning and the funeral will be held at 3 o’clock from the home of her grandmother, Mrs. E. A. Hawley, 400 Cherry street. Her father, W. A. Clark, of New York, will accompany the remains here. Miss Clark was born in this city, where she resided for many years. On account of failing health she was compelled to go to California, where it was thought she would be benefited by the change of climate. She returned to Muscatine about a year ago, and for seven months was a patient at Hershey hospital. A few months ago she went to the home of her father in New York, where she died.

Besides her father she is survived by her grandmother, Mrs. E. A. Hawley, one aunt, Miss Frances Hawley, and one cousin, Mrs. Louisa V. Dillaway.

BURIED THIS AFTERNOON -- Funeral of Miss Katherine Clark Held Today.

The funeral of Miss Katherine Clark was held this afternoon at 3 o’clock at the home of her grandmother, Mrs. E. A. Hawley, on Cherry street. Rev. A. I. E. Boss, rector of the Trinity church, conducted the services. Interment was made in Greenwood cemetery. The pall bearers were: J. B. Chaplin, E. C. Cook, Dr. F. H. Little, H. W. Huttig, F. W. Swan and E. C. Stocker.
