Ed J. Friedli, 80, a life resident of Wilton Junction, died in Mercy hospital at Davenport Sunday.

He was born May 21, 1878, at Wilton Junction. He was a Triple A committeeman for 15 years.

His marriage to Agnes Fiehaly took place Dec. 10, 1908, at Wilton Junction, where they farmed all their married life. He was a member of St. Mary's church.

Survivors include the widow, two sons, Leo and Francis, Wilton Junction; a daughter, Mrs. Donald Axel, Muscatine; a sister, Mrs. Will Moolf, West Liberty, and four grandchildren.

Services were held Wednesday in St. Mary's church at Wilton Junction. Burial was in the St. Mary's cemetery.
