The funeral of the late John B. Lee was held Saturday afternoon from Greenwood chapel at Muscatine. The remains accompanied by a number of relatives and several members of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows of Iowa City, arrived at Muscatine at 12:30 Saturday on the Wilton train. The body was removed to Greenwood chapel, where short services were held. Rev. John Wesley Potter, the pastor of the First Methodist church of which the deceased was a member, conducted the services. The gentlemen from Iowa City who accompanied the remains were, N. O. Startsman, L. D. Porch, Benjamin Owen, J. Struble, C. F. Lovelace and Henry Sporieder.
The burial took place Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The burial was private. The following members of the family were present to attend the funeral: Mr. and Mrs. Isaac B. Lee of Iowa City; Joseph J. Lee, of Iowa City; Mrs. John Mahin of Evanston, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. John Lee Mahin of Chicago and Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Lee of Ottumwa.
At the burial the following pall bearers officiated: G. M. Titus, C. R. Musser, Charles Cadle, J. L. McColm, W. L. Lane and D. V. Jackson.
