Mrs. Jane Baker, former resident of Muscatine and Wilton, died at her home in Hollywood, Calif., Oct. 5, local relatives have learned Accompanied by her daughter, Miss Nora Baker of Hollywood and her son, B.B. Baker, 1112 Lincoln Boulevard, who has been in the west, the body will be brought here Friday and taken to Wilton for burial. More detailed arrangements will be announced later.

Funeral services for Jane Dunton Baker, who died at Los Angeles, Calif., recently, were conducted at the grave in Oakdale cemetery at Wilton this afternoon at 1 o’clock by the Rev. A. W. McBlain, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church at Wilton. Members of the Wilton Odd Fellows Lodge acted as pallbearers.

Mrs. Baker was born in Ohio, September, 1850, the daughter of John and Elizabeth Dunton Hardin. She was married to William Henry Baker at Newton, Ia., in 1870. Three daughters and her husband preceded her in death.

Surviving are five children; Buford B. Baker of Muscatine; Albert H. of San Francisco; Mrs. Aminda Hugunin, Hollywood, Calif.; Miss Nora Baker of Hollywood Calif.; and Laura Amos of Cornoran, Calif.; eight grandchildren and one great grand-child.
