Funeral services for Ralph "Ham" Sterner, 71, Moscow, were held June 11 at Lacock Funeral home in Wilton, with burial in the Moscow cemetery.

Mr. Sterner died June 8 at his home in Moscow.

He retired as a custodian in rural schools in 1976.

Mr. Sterner married Virginia Marolf in 1937 in Wilton.

He was a member of the Moose lodge, Iowa City.

He is survived by his wife; a son, Larry, Moscow; 2 granddaughters and a brother, George, Atalissa.
