WEST LIBERTY.

West Liberty, la., Jan. 19.— The funeral services of Earl Adams, the four year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Adams, of Adams Station, we're held on Saturday afternoon at one o ’clock at the Adams school house. Rev. Kern, pastor of the Christian church at Nichols, conducted the services, which were attended by many sympathizing friends. Many beautiful floral tributes were the tokens of sympathy extended to the bereaved parents. A quartette composed of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Metcalf, Miss Jennie Hendrix and Marion Allbright, sang beautifully two hymns “Beckoning Hands’’ and “Going Down the Valley.” The pall bearers consisted of four small boys, John Jamison, Ezra Jamison, Fred Mills and Clifford Schildburg. Interment was made at Swickard cemetery.
