Mrs. Sophie Fleitz.

Mrs. Sophie Fleitz, 72, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Carl Rauch, 408 West Eighth street, last night at 9 o’clock. Complications resulting from old age caused her death.
Mrs. Fleitz was born in Germany, March 9, 1853, and was married Nov. 18, 1877, to Gabriel Fleitz. who preceded her in death nine years ago. She is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Louis Schwab, Davenport; and Mrs. Carl Rauch, Muscatine; a brother, Joseph Rank, Ft. Dodge; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the St. Mathias church Wednesday morning at 9 o’clock in charge of the Rev. F. J. Leonard. It is requested that no flowers he sent.
