Mrs. H. C. Druse Had Been Ill For Two Years;
Was 56 Years Of Age.Birmingham. – Mrs. H. C. Druse, 56, wife of the Rev. H. C. Druse, died at the Methodist parsonage in Birmingham Tuesday at 10:30 p.m. after two years’ illness.
Miss Genevieve Hendricks was born June 30, 1881, at West Liberty, the daughter of Clarence and Elizabeth Hendricks.
She took nurse’s training in Chicago and worked as a nurse several years. She was married July 25, 1934, to the Rev. H. C. Druse, who was then pastor at Nichols.
They had lived at Birmingham the last three years. She joined the Christian church as a girl and was active in the choir and Sunday school.
Funeral services will be at the Christian church at Nichols Thursday about 2 p.m. in charge of the Christian pastor there. Burial will be at the cemetery at Nichols beside her mother, who died about three weeks ago.
