Mrs. Hockenberry
Death Occours At Lewistown, Pa.

Mrs. Mae Souder Hockenberry, Newport, Pa. a former resident of Muscatine, died at 3:30 a.m. Monday in a hospital at Lewistown, Pa. after a lingering illness.

Mrs. Hockenberry attended Franklin school in South Muscatine. She left Muscatine as a young woman and had been living in the east since that time.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Earl Houser of Kansas City and Mrs. Mabel Henning of Muscatine; three sons, Bernard, Norman and Ray, all living in the east; eight grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Hockenberry; her parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Charles Souder; three sisters and a brother.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m Sunday at Newport.
