Mrs. Aurelia J. Cox

Mrs. Aurelia J. Cox, a resident of Muscatine for the last twelve years died at 9:30 o’clock Sunday night at her home, 619 Hope avenue, following an extended illness. Diabetes is given as the cause of her death. She was 61 years old. She had been in ailing health for two years, but it was only during the last six months that her condition became serious.
Mrs. Cox, nee Aurelia J. Atwater, was born October 16, 1857 in Hardin county, Ia. She came to Muscatine twelve years ago and had resided here since. She was a member of the First Baptist church.
To survive, she leaves three daughters, Mrs. John Grayall and Miss Cico Cox of this city, and Mrs. Charles Davidson of Hollis, Kan., and one son, Charles Baghell of Mountain View, Cal.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o’clock Tuesday afternoon from the home. Rev. W. H. Rogers of the First Baptist church will officiate. Burial will be made in Greenwood cemetery.

Funeral services for Mrs. Aurelia J. Cox, 619 Hope avenue, who died Sunday night, were held at 2:30 o’clock this afternoon from the home. The Rev. W. H. Rogers of the first Baptist church officiated. Burial was made in the Greenwood cemetery.
