Jewel Alice Kessel

Jewel Alice Kessel, infant daughter of jess and Kimberlie Heath Kessel of Letts, died Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2000, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

A private family graveside service will be held at a later date at St. Mary's Cemetery in Muscatine with the Rev. Jack Gallagher officiating. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include her parents and one brother, Seth Kessel, at home; maternal grandmother, Joan Salek of Muscatine; maternal great-grandmother, Pearl Salek of Muscatine; maternal grandparents, Alan and Barb Heath of Muscatine; and paternal grandparents, Dwight and Zeeta Kessl of Nichols.
