Sam T. Evans Taken by Death

Well Known Cedar County Resident Dies in Kansas City, Mo.

Wilton.- Sam. T. Evans, a well known Cedar county resident, died at Kansas City, Mo., early Tuesday morning, according to work received by his nephew, W. J. Leech of this city. Mr. Evans was seriously injured in a fall several years ago which left him an invalid and for the past year has been cared for by his sister, Miss Martha Evans at Kansas City.
Mr. Evans was the son of Thomas and Ellen Evans, born in Cedar county 77 years ago and all of his life has been spent in this vicinity. The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon in Kansas City.

Note: Buried at Oakdale Cemetery in Wilton.
