Leland Leroy Morgan, 81, of Muscatine, passed away on Wednesday March 26, 2014 at his home in Muscatine.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday March 31, 2014 at the Geo. Wittich Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. Burial wll take place in Greenwood Cemetery. Following interment a time of food and fellowship will be held at the First Christian Church located at 700 Kindler Avenue in Muscatine. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Sunday March 30, 2014 at the funeral home.

Leland was born on July 4, 1932 in Nichols, the son of Lawrence and Lorena Dennis Morgan. On July 22, 1950 Leland was united in marriage to Pauline D. Estabrook in Muscatine. He worked on auto body and painting cars for many years and eventually retired as a mechanic for Morgan Trucking.

Leland will be missed by his wife, Pauline Morgan of Muscatine, chhildren, Randy Morgan of Muscatine, Susan Morgan and Scott Sterner of Little Rock, California, Gary Morgan, Lynn Proctor and husband Bob, Lisa Gann and husband Roger and Amy Swanson and Jeff Sell, all of Muscatine, Iowa. 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, one brother, Donald Morgan of Muscatine, one sister, Lucille Kennedy of Illinois City, Illinois.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Max Morgan, one sister, Vera Metzger and a daughter infancy Leann Morgan.
